Apex Systems is seeking an in-house AV Support Specialist for a large client in the Tampa area!
Previous experience installing and configuring Crestron, Extron and/or AMX systems needed. Cisco experience is a plus.

Job Details
This position will provide array of customer services surrounding the utilization, operation, and implementation of AudioVisual/Video Conferencing systems. A primary focus of this role will be facilitating Cisco endpoint support and as well as live event support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform routine testing and problem diagnosis of fully integrated systems comprising of but not limited to video & audio conferencing, video switch, digital video transport, projectors, microphones & arrays, speakers, amplifiers & LCD/Plasma Displays, etc…
  • Coordinate technical, architectural, and construction requirements with Project Managers, Project Engineers and Onsite Management
  • Prepare and stage systems for Quality Control testing as applicable
  • Perform preventative maintenance to resolve problem or identify resolution to appropriate vendor or manufacturer
  • Troubleshoot AV/VC problems last minute as required as well as non-critical situations
  • Assist with company meetings/functions that require use of existing AV infrastructure (audio, video conferencing, webcasting, visual display or projection, and control system (AMX, Crestron) operations
  • Interact with client Customer Help Desk ticketing system to respond to end user requests
  • Conceptualize the setup/breakdown of live events, facilitate and run live event per the customers needs
