Our company is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements.

Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly verbally and/or in written communication.

The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines. This position will report directly to the CEO/Director/Founder.



Must Have:

• Minimum 2 years experience with Quickbooks

• Minimum 2 years experience Bookkeeping

• Assisted with Month end Close


AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY (including but not limited to):

• Reviews and analyzes restaurant performance to ensure continuous improvement with respect to purchasing, inventory and other cost control areas

• Maintains GL and all related accounts; includes reviewing entries to ensure accuracy & correctness, controlling changes to chart of accounts and preparing journal entries for month-end and year-end closings

• Manages and oversees AP/AR activities

• Monitors daily deposits and bank balances to ensure proper income and cash controls

• Prepares monthly bank reconciliations and administers monthly close process for all accounts includes verifying accuracy of bank statements, reconciling balance sheet accounts, resolving questions/problems and maintaining integrity of cash balances and cash flow systems

• Administers preparation of interim, year-end and comparative financial reports, including analysis of current results vs. prior years/budgets and preparing required government reports as directed

• excellent verbally and/or written skills

• Journal Entries including: payroll, bank reconciliations, and general entries

• Bank card reconciliations

• Cash Flow analysis

• Accounts Payable

• Accounts Receivable

• Overview of Payroll

• Budgeting and Forecasting assistance

• P&L analysis

• Month end close

• Ad Hoc Analysis as assigned




Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (graduating GPA of 3.0 or higher)

At least 1-2 years accounting and/or financial management experience

Experience with day-to-day accounting and monthly closes, Excel model building and analytical review

• Solid understanding of business financial including P&L analysis, budget development and cost controls

• Demonstrated ability to work in and manage small project teams, including planning, task management, status reporting, etc.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all activities
