Job Description:

Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organization’s systems and capabilities. Analyzes business partner’s operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions. Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications. Educates the IT organization on the direction of the business. Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation. Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge. 

The BSA will be part of the Channel and Integration team. They will meet with business partners to review business requirements. They will create functional requirements, user interface documentation, and Use Cases. They will work closely with the testing teams to validate requirements are understood. They will meet with Team to gather and document the level of effort on projects. They will be asked to work some evening hours and occasional weekends as part of new technology deployments. They will perform various other analytical tasks as needed to ensure successful completion of assigned Projects, including post deployment metric reviews to determine project success. The BSA will be responsible for requirements and functional architecture. Involved in testing and implementation of applications.

Skills preferred:

  • a proven track record of Call Center project experience.
  • experience in the following areas: UI, use cases and call flow diagrams.
  • experience in the following areas: Salesforce or another CRM, user stories, and call flow diagrams.
