Job Scope & Purpose:
Our revered, Boston area client offering exceptional leadership is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial-minded clinical project manager with a can-do attitude to step into a small, yet growing organization that is revolutionizing disease treatment with small molecules that correct RNA expression.  The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of drug development processes and step into a huge opportunity for growth while working directly with a successful Chief Medical Officer.  Commitment, energy, and ability to jump in where needed are key to success – learn from the best!
Primary Job Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for IND-enabling activities management (GLP toxicology studies, CMC pieces collection, and assembly, the regulatory coordination). 
  • Responsible for the operational implementation of pre-market clinical trial
  • Develop and manage the project plan and timeline, which may include budget planning
  • Manage escalation of study-related issues and communicate as appropriate with management
  • Select and manage clinical trial vendors such as CROs and external laboratories, and ensure their performance is consistent with company standards

Primary Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in health profession and/or science – advanced degree a plus
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical operations experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or CRO
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft project)
  • Ability to travel approximately 20%
