  • Obtain data regarding packaging including dimensions, weight, materials of construction, etc. from various sources such as other databases, manufacturing plants, engineers, or specifications
  • Enter data into Oracle Agile relational database
  • Create and/or maintain databases reflecting validation status of various packaging systems using Excel.
  • Communicate with individuals both within and outside of company to obtain information related to the above.
  • Follow up on commitments made to the Packaging group to provide data
  • Find and resolve errors in existing databases

  • B.S. in Scientific discipline preferred
  • Familiarity with scientific and engineering terminology to be able to read a specification and extract applicable data
  • Excel skills including Vlookup, formula creation, data comparison tools, import and export, worksheet tab management, creation of summary dashboard tabs, etc.
  • Interpersonal skills to obtain data and follow up with people who have made commitments to provide data in such a way as to obtain the information needed.
  • Must be able to highly accurate input
  • Self-checking for 100% accuracy and reliability of data
  • Able to do repetitive data entry over many hours
  • Must have excellent logical thinking and teamwork abilities
