Job Scope & Purpose:
Our exciting Boston based client, pioneering new RNA-targeting small molecule therapies for neurology and genetic types of cancer, is seeking a dynamic individual to join its growing Program and Alliance Management function. Our client is seeking someone with proven experience in managing small molecule programs, with previous experience in managing alliance partnerships and guiding programs through preclinical stage gates. Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrated experience managing internal programs and timelines, and serving as a stakeholder for pre-clinical programs with a focus on timelines and activities from pre-clinical and initiation of Phase 1 activities to mid-stage clinical activities.
  • Manage external alliances with global partners, with first-hand experience in the management of alliances or management of both research and development stage programs
  • Oversee budgeting and resource planning for internal and partnered programs
  • Some travel may be required on occasion to business and alliance partners

Primary Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred), with at least five years of program and/or alliance management experience in drug development and at least 10 years of industry experience
  • PMP or Alliance certification (CSAP) strongly preferred
  • Experience with conflict resolution, enabling teams to resolve challenges openly and advance programs collectively and collegially
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office, including Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or comparable timeline trackers, required
