Apex Systems is looking for an Engineer for one of our major Medical Device clients in the Irving, Texas area to be the subject matter expert on new automation, software, and robotics.

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Will work with New Track System (automated laboratory system)
  • Helping to review and write service manuals, training guides, technical service bulletins, and instrument service advisories.
  • There is a tech writer on the team, so the Engineer would be working with Tech writer in case reviews are needed.
  • New Automation, software, robotics are involved
  • Engineer will be the Subject Matter Expert ME and help the tech writer with the training modules
  • Manage the database for parts inventory

Education & Experience
  • Looking for electrical engineer, or mechanical degree.
  • Medical Device background and experience working on laboratory instrumentation.
  • 3 Years of experience minimum. Need real world experience (experience preferred over an advanced degree).
  • Good writing skills is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally 1-2 weeks per quarter.
