RF Engineer
Location:  Schertz, TX

Responsibilities include:
  • Perform new search area creation.
  • Analysis of current search areas for system goals and creation of RF design documents.
  • Analysis of system level RF Design as needed.
  • Create RFDS for modification projects.
  • Revise existing RFDS as need for new technology.
  • Assist Senior Engineers in tasks as instructed.
  • Create Mapinfo and Atoll plots as needed for documentation.
  • Analyze RF propagation in Atoll.
  • Assist in CQ and E911 filing and maintenance.

Must have skills:
  • Atoll tool experience. 5+
  • Mapinfo experience with ability to create system level maps.
  • RF Design Experience in LTE and VoLTE. 5+
  • Design experience with both macro and small cell designs.
  • Knowledge of 4TX, 4RX, RF plumbing and ability to integrate new technologies into design documents.
  • Ability to multi-tasks across varied assignments.

Desired skills:
  • The desired candidate has a proven experience in a CLIENT market designing new and evaluating existing search areas for RF goals taking into account coverage and capacity.
  • The candidate will work well with minimal supervision and create consistent output to be delivered to the engineering building team.
  • The candidate will be able to utilize the Atoll tool with minimum instruction and be proficient to a medium level in Mapinfo.
  • They will understand the data fields needing to be entered into a typical RF data sheet including newer technologies such as 4TX/RX and associated plumbing diagrams.
  • The candidate will interface well with the site acquisition and build team to accomplish goals.
