Position: Epic EHR Enhancement – Beaker PM
Job Description:
EHR Transformation – Blood Product Administration (BPAM) and Haemonetics Safetrace (Blood Bank) Implementation Project Manager. Provide project management for BPAM and Blood Bank which is scheduled to go live between in 2020 into 2021. The PM will manage project plans, provide status, facilitate team and leadership meeting and assist with escalations of issues and risks associated with the projects managed.
 
Project Manager will be involved with accomplishing project objectives by establishing scope; designing and delivering solutions as well as leading team members. Typically responsible for the overall planning, management and completion of IT projects. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: Development of project documents and project plans, resource management, timelines management, executive reporting, and change management.
Duration: 1 year – possibility to extend
Expected start date: ASAP
Reason for opening: Current Project Manager in this role will be leaving the organization. This is an enterprise initiative to replace SunQuest Lab. There are no FTE projects managers in ITD that have experience and certification with Epic or have availability/bandwidth.

Current Blood Bank system will have to be retained but is running end of life

Must haves:
Large scale project management implementation experience

Blood Product Administration Module  (BPAM)
