Description: Continuous Improvement / Transformation Support

Kitchens will be expected to streamline their operations to remain competitive in the marketplace in 2019. We are seeking candidates with Industrial / Process Engineering experience to help us drive key operational changes as part of a large-scale Continuous Improvement initiative at our facilities. Work will involve establishing 5S organization, benchmarking (e.g., conducting time studies), taking inputs from other locations, running Kaizen events, proposing changes to streamline process, and implementing process changes (e.g., KPI boards, Kanban systems, introducing conveyor belts where they make sense). Efforts will be executed throughout 2019 in partnership with internal teams such as CIEO.


• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and methodology in the implementation of manufacturing excellence initiatives

• Implement lean projects directed at reducing waste and improving quality to provide greater valve; implements such tools as: 5S, KPI, VSM, and Kaizen

• Ensures standardization of processes and the implementation of metrics and best practices; this will involve rolling out standard work, etc.


• 10+ years of experience in a continuous improvement role

• Experience working in a manufacturing facility, running Kaizen events and implementing other Lean-based concepts

• Experience in large scale and diverse process improvement implementation

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines


• Black or Green Belt in Six Sigma

• Experience working in food manufacturing

• Food safety certification(s)
