Description
This individual will be transitioning from the specialized traditional roles for engineering at our client, focused on COTS products, to an analytical practitioner who automates repetitive tasks and looks for better problems to solve while delivering value sooner to customers (internal and external). The individual is highly capable of producing Infrastructure as Code while leveraging all the best aspects of DevOps practices and tools. This individual has a solid grasp of cloud service based concepts for compute, storage, network, security, monitoring, configuration, and deployment services. This individual leverages a broad and fairly deep understanding of the platform stack to produce, deliver, and maintain our product models of the future.

Readily adapts to change, plans, estimates into budget, collaborative, relies on aptitude, learns from failure, recognizes personal levels of understanding / inability and seeks alternative paths to solution, ability to fully embedded in a smaller autonomous team, confidently leverages Toolchain tools, natively incorporates best practices (technical hygiene, innovation, security, and compliance) into everyday tasks / deliverables
 
Experience:
Full integration design, procurement & provisioning, automation, proactive monitoring & support, curating / brokering major cloud service providers services, comprehensive understanding of Agile and DevOps practices, full understanding of CI/CD concepts and strategies
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training - 3 - 5 years experience.
