Apex Systems is looking for an IT Data Analyst for a Fortune 6 Healthcare company in Schaumburg, IL.

Systems IT Data Analysts
PROJECT: Onboarding new clients and supporting testing efforts. Resource will be trained as a data analyst which is responsible for onboarding claim extract files for our clients and their vendors. Client is defined as an organization that has contracted with Optum to provide pharmacy care services for their members.
- Determines best methods to extract data and input the data into the claims adjudication system, identifies optimal data file architecture, data processing parameters, and security controls. Input and output data is defined but not limited to accumulator, claim, price, and prescriber.
- Conducts data analysis during file processing and reports back to clients/vendors on how the data will fit into the system and how it will relate to the plan design that has been set-up as well as recommends solutions that best meet client/vendor and/or company needs.
- Collaborates internally and externally to communicate deliverable dates and milestones to ensure client expectations are being met as defined during requirements gathering.
- Manages the on-going change control process for established clients to ensure that security and quality of required data extract processes are not compromised with consideration made for the real-time nature of pharmacy benefits.
- Actively participates in the implementation of new data file extracts, set-up of automation, and quality assurance measures as defined by department.
- Participates as a liaison between client/vendors and account management to ensure that client data requirements are documented, tested, and reviewed prior to the implementation of the automation of the data interface requirements.
- Maintains documentation that support business defined standards for inbound and outbound data transactions between internal and external clients/vendors.
- Project assignments and other duties as assigned by management.
IDEAL BACKGROUND: Healthcare claims background or any claim data analytical background. Candidate with experience with claim adjudication systems, Pharmacy Benefit Management Services, data sharing/transmission experience, and claim data transmission.

Candidate with data analytical and technical background in claims data transmission with understanding of pharmacy benefit management services.
Candidate that has technical experience in data file generation or technical background in both data file transmission and data generation.

Team will be a total of 5 analysts working together to onboard new clients for 1/1/2020 What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?
ServiceNow Task Requests Types

• Client Implementation
o Set-up Carrier
o Set-up connectivity
o Set-up automation outbound claim extract files (standard and custom)
o Testing of set-up and support (connectivity or claim extract) o Set-up inbound client specific Prescriber or MAC files

• Existing Client Requests

• Running claim extract jobs by parameters sent by requester

• Set-up automation outbound claim extract file (standard and custom)

• Set-up connectivity (ftp connectivity for various files

• Troubleshooting of connectivity, claim extract, or supporting inquiries

• Running held payment extracts in RxClaim

• Projects as assigned by management
What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?
Ultra Edits/Text Pad- Ability to utilize tools that review flat text files ServiceNow
RxClaim- Understanding of claim adjudication system or claims data.
Understanding of file transfer protocol process

What are the work hours?
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (May have to work overtime depending on project timelines)
