Job Title:  IT Project Manger 
Job Summary:
This is a contract position that coordinates with a professional team of solution managers, engineers, project managers, analysts, quality assurance engineers and designers throughout the organization to deliver high-quality solutions for customers and partners within the organization. This role interacts with customers, stakeholders, partners, and strategic vendors to ensure an excellent experience while delivering technical solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

Work Experience:
  • 8+ years of Technical Project Management experience

Demonstrated Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong, broad technology background with understanding of IT industry best practices for Project Management
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining productive working relationships
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong project planning ability
  • Scrum certifications are a plus
  • This job operates in a professional office environment
  • To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for long periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment

Specific Degrees, Certifications, Licenses:
  • PMP or other project management certification recognized in specific industries required
  • Scrum certifications preferred

  • Oversees the day-to-day technical project work of the team
  • Develops and executes project plans that ensures all deliverables are developed and released on time with the highest quality possible
  • Generates weekly reports complete with metrics showing the status of each project
  • Aligns and follows standard processes to assure quality and consistency of the product
  • Ensures IT risks (including security, compliance, business continuity, etc.) are identified and appropriately addressed
  • Addresses complex problems and effectively escalates them as necessary
