Junior Clinical Tester
Contract to Hire 
100% Remote
Roles & responsibilities:
  1. Functional knowledge of multiple CHCS subsystems:  PAD, PAS, LAB, CLN, Radiology, WAM, etc.
  2. Create and manage CHCS and AHLTA user accounts in multiple CHCS images
  3. Maintain CHCS File & Table structure across all functional areas of the system
  4. Create Ad Hoc reports for identification or extraction of testing data
  5. Analyze, document and communicate system and business processes. Be an instrumental player of software implementation project teams throughout the life cycle of the software implementation processes.
  6. Facilitate and validate the development of system solutions to satisfy customers business needs.
  7. Conduct software presentations and provide technical supports to existing and prospective customers.
  8. Implement and provide inputs for test plans.
  9. Design and create of test cases and scenarios for software testing. Perform functional testing, regression testing and keep track of all the new developments. Use bug tracking software’s to track and report problems.
  10. Produce the evaluate test reports and take part in software walk through.
  11. Modify CHCS data in support of test events where data manipulation is needed to create specific test scenarios
  12. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CHCS interfaces with other systems
  13. Troubleshoot CHCS functions to determine whether an issue is a defect or file configuration problem
  14. Resolve file configuration problems when they occur within CHCS
  15. Resolve data sharing issues between CHCS & AHLTA
  16. Analyze and interpret HL7 message traffic

Skills & Abilities:
  1. Ability to understand and document customer business requirements.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and internal cross-functional teams. Self-motivated, well-organized and strict attention to details.
  3. Superior written and oral communication skills.
  4. Ability to understand and manage customer expectations and software implementation methodology. A quick learner and hard working.
  5. Working knowledge of sophisticated business applications and relational databases. Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at the same time.

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Willingness to attend late afternoon or evening web meetings to collaborate with multinational project team members.
  2. Must have the basic SQL skills and good experience in automated testing tools.
  3. Should possess experience in database concepts and defect tracking tools.
  4. Must have the capacity to understand the QA processes and work in the software environment
  5. Preferred: • Experience with the Defense Health Agency (DHA) EHR Applications(AHLTA, CHCS, Essentris, APLIS, HAIMS, ICP etc.)
