Apex Systems is currently looking for a Jr. eCommerce Engineer with a strong understanding of the MERN stack.

Responsibilities
  • Write high-quality test-driven code
  • Demonstrate technical excellence in software development (program design, coding, testing, debugging)
  • Ability to craft simple and elegant solutions to complex problems.
  • Research and implement new applications, enhancements and bug fixes

Requirements:
  • Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Ability to self motivate and be passionate about what you do and care deeply about the things you build.
  • Understanding of how the web works and how to make it efficient.
  • Strong software development fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, problem solving)
  • Able to write clean, readable, maintainable and well-tested code.
  • Able to clearly communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of JSON, API, REST, HTTP.
  • Knowledge of relational database and non-relational database concepts.
  • Knowledge of Single Page Application (SPA) designs, frameworks, and patterns.
  • Good understanding and use of Software Design Patterns and Functional Programming
