What you’ll be doing…
Be a part of the rapidly growing Connected Car SaaS industry, as you work alongside some of the sharpest minds in SaaS software and mobile app development. Our engineering teams take advantage of the latest technologies to design, build and test solutions that are literally transforming connected vehicle around the world. We are looking for a principal software engineer to help tackle the exciting technical opportunities ahead. As our lead automation engineer, you will work with cross-functional teams in the shipping high-quality SaaS product. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Automate testing for the IoT gateway Fleet platform.
  • Create and maintain automated test suites using C#, NUnit, mocking frameworks and proprietary testing platforms developed in-house.
  • Execute, investigate and report on the success of automated tests as part of an Agile development lifecycle.
  • Conduct thorough investigation of automation test failures and troubleshoot the issues.
  • Conduct research and Proof of Concepts on emerging technologies.
  • Provide effort estimations for the individual assignments and constant feedback to the team.
  • Participate in code reviews and design workshops.
  • Work as part of a cross-functional lean development team.

 
You'll need to have:
  • 4 years of experience in QA
  • 2 years of experience in the development of test automation frameworks and automated tests, preferably using C#.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent education.
  • Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP protocols.
  • SQL proficiency (intermediate level).
  • Strong understanding of Object Orientated Design practices.
  • Experience with backend solution technologies, knowledge of communication protocols (TCP, HTTP, SOAP, etc.)
  • Good understanding and experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with protobuf is a plus.

 
Even better if you have:
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, Native Cloud (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS S3/Lambda/Gateway/CDN, OpenShift).
  • Knowledge of APM stack such as AppDynamics or Dynatrace.
