Test Engineer

Quality Assurance Engineer

Develops and applies quality assurance engineering practices and measure for complex enterprise software systems through the development/product lifecycle and in alignment with Sprint IT company and industry standard. 

Actively participates in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Cultivates and share knowledge of quality assurance engineering best practices 

Develops and maintains test automation processes in alignment with the project and/or organization standards and tools 

Develops and maintains automation plans frameworks, scripts and metrics for functional regression and integration tests

Performs manual and exploratory testing as needed

Initiates Changes Request (CRs) as appropriate to capture defects and enhancements identified during the testing process and track existing or potential issues along with a recommended course of action and/or options.

Participates in and facilitate daily standup meetings communicate progress and barriers to completing application development and testing goals

Collaborates with the development and configuration management teams for deployments into the environments 

Establishes and adheres to quality assurance guidelines and standards as defined by the project and/or organization requesting testing services 

Enters and reports all daily activities using status tracking tools as required 

Prepares and analyzes test results to aid in problem solving and facilitate decision making


QA Testing Analyst II participates in application analysis, test strategy development, test case creation, test script development, test execution, defect tracking and reporting. The candidate may also be required to train end users.  Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Math, Information Systems or related field. 3-5 years related work experience.
