Apex Systems is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II for a global Material Science client in Maplewood, MN.

The position of Corporate Quality Engineer will drive Quality Management System development .This role requires an understanding of Quality Management Systems and Quality Engineering methodologies

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Implement Quality Management processes
  • Participate in Quality Management implementation
  • Create metrics, reports and analytics that identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across our Businesses and Operations
  • Other duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university
  • Operational experience working with Quality Management Systems and processes
  • ERP experience
  • Ability to understand and champion quality and compliance requirements
  • Experience with IT systems and IT system implementation projects
  • ASQ professional certification as CQE or CMQ/OE (or equivalent)
  • Detail oriented with project management experience
  • Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills
  • Solid organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
