Position: Research and Development Technician

Duration: 1 year contract to hire
 
Position Description:
The R&D Technician will conduct mortar and concrete tests in the lab and in the field necessary to examine the properties of new and existing concrete admixtures. They will also schedule equipment use and test time required to complete work assignments.
 
Qualifications:
 
Education: Associates Degree OR High School with 3+ years of experience
 
  • Experience working in R&D or quality control environments
  • Experience with mortar, concrete and fiber reinforced concrete tests and procedures
  • Experience operating and maintaining simple lab and pilot plant apparatus/equipment  
  • Inventory experience 
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Simple math calculations with some knowledge of chemical/engineering technology
