Contract: 2+ Months to Start
Hourly Pay on W2

Responsibilities & Duties

The software engineer will develop software for algorithms, models, and APIs.


Making a clean API. They are providing software functions that other companies will use in their own software.


This software is going to be controlling hardware. Debugging capabilities would be nice to have since they are going to doing quite a bit of testing on this product before it goes to the customer.


Configure registers, transferring data back and forth. Packets will get passed back and forth. The software is always going to be running but sometimes in the background. The hardware will tell the software it's time to go to work.


Someone with a firmware or embedded experience would be a good fit.


Top skills:

1. C++

2. Familiarity with hardware; controlling a device


Requirements, not limited to the following:

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. Plus 5+ years of experience.

• Enjoy problem-solving and making simple, maintainable software.

• Good Team Player.

• C/C++ code

• Driver Development and Debug

• Software interacting with hardware to configure registers and transfer data

• APIs

• Client and Server Software using a socket

• Algorithms
