Senior Voice Engineer

Apex Systems, the nation’s 2nd largest IT Workforce Solutions organization, has an immediate and exciting opportunity for a Senior Voice Engineer for one of the largest financial firms in Columbus, Ohio.  This opportunity is a 3 month Contract-to-hire.

Company & Group Details of the Senior Voice Engineer:

  • Responsible for the enterprise wide support, plan, design, documentation and call routing.
  • The individual will need to be able to troubleshoot high level issues for Tier II Engineers, have a self-starter mentality while being able to be a team player, and a willingness to learn and utilize new technologies.
  • A strong phone presence with great written and verbal skills.

Description for the Senior Voice Engineer:

  • Working knowledge of contact center, network and telephony applications.
  • Monitor network, telephony and recorder applications.
  • Able to work with Project Managers, BSA’s and IT and Business stakeholders to scope, develop and maintain project tollgate documentation.
  • Facilitate changes and manage project following required documentation and standards.
  • Work with vendors to address needs, resolve issues, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions.

Technologies and Skills for the Senior Voice Engineer:

  • 5+ years of Voice Engineering.
  • Able to create and present documentation for ARB entry form and Charter Documents.
  • ServiceNow Modifications/additions (incident), Onboarding Modification (onboarding/recording request/removal).
  • Test plans and scripts and execution in Quality Center.
  • Operational/Handover and Business Handoff documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or work equivalence.
