OVERALL JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION:

Designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, configures and maintains website(s) and user interfaces for internal and external

communications for the company and/or for external customers and clients. Ensures website(s) is available to the desired

audience with appropriate links and security. Designs web page layout, graphics, color schemes and infrastructure to

maintain a cohesive website based on the organization's communications strategies and goals. Conceptualizes, designs, and

implements a web-based user interface based on current technologies and requirements for computer information systems

while staying abreast of emerging technologies that will improve the website's experience and functionality. Monitors site

traffic and helps scale site capacity to meet traffic demands and performance expectations. Improves the portal's efficiency

and designs the look and feel for the site using HTML, JavaScript, and SQL. May require knowledge of the software

development life cycle.

JOB FAMILY KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Collaborates with management, business units and IT department to determine the website's purpose, functions, requirements and long-term strategy.

2. Needs knowledge of web-based user interface development including principles of content organization, site layout, and navigation structure.

3. Develops, assesses and communicates website usage and security policies and procedures.

4. Collaborates with software developers, testers, and other members of the system development team on incorporating the interface elements into the information system being built.

5. Troubleshoots and debugs issues that arise with the performance of the website(s) and user interfaces including content, links, order flows, registration flows and transaction logs.

6. Performs backups and ensures user accessibility to the site.

 

Description: 

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the latest cutting-edge technologies in support of the Air Force's premier operational command and control node. You will work with professionals from across the IT and cyber defense spectrum to deliver game changing capabilities for our cyber warfighters. Your efforts will ensure the highest reliability, best performing suite of planning, situational awareness, and battle management tools are available to support operational command and control. More specifically, you will be developing and maintaining world-class web pages on three different security domains to quickly and efficiently disseminate and collect information about the latest security posture, orders status, and threats to the DoD.

Mandatory Qualifications (Please list all Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills that are Required to get an interview.

These mandatory qualifications should be non-negotiable based on your contract requirements)

• Familiarity with ITIL management.

• Hold and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance in order to start work, also must be a U.S. Citizen.

• DoD Directive 8570.01M Compliant such as Security+CE.

• 5 years experience in Web Development

• Ability to obtain Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in ColdFusion 9 or MCSD within 120 days of hire.
