Description

 Must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD SECRET clearance. Candidates with a current clearance will be given preference. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Managing and sustaining ACAS objects (Repositories, Asset Lists, Scan Zones, Security Center, Nessus Scanners).
  • Analyzing scan and vulnerability compliance.
  • Assisting ACAS users with credentialed scan issues.
  • Reviewing/submitting POA&Ms for past due Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts/Bulletins.
  • Performing routine and ad-hoc scans using the ACAS application.
  • Analyzing vulnerability scan results and subsequent reporting using the ACAS application.
  • Managing, disseminating, interpreting and tracking compliance with IAVM’s.
  • Maintaining existing standard operational procedure (SOP) documentation and draft new SOPs and other documentation as necessary.
  • ACAS account creation and administration.
  • Troubleshooting ACAS application to include functionality and infrastructure.
  • Uploading and maintaining DISA SCAP content.
  • Assisting subscribers with ACAS issues.
  • Other duties as assigned. 
  • Up to 10% Travel.

Requirements:

  • Requires Active Secret security clearance or higher.
  • Must meet requirements of DoD Directives 8570.01M.
  • Must be proficient with desktop programs such as Adobe Acrobat, MS Excel, MS Word.
  • Must possess a high attention to detail.

Highly Desired

  • Past experience managing an ACAS infrastructure is a plus.
  • Prior experience working within a large ACAS deployment.

Required Experience:

  • Senior Vulnerability Analyst
    • 5 Years of experience using ACAS or VS tool, 4-year college degree in a computer science related field or 7 years experience.
  • Mid Vulnerability Analyst
    • 3 Years of experience using ACAS or VS tool and a 4-year college degree in a computer science related field or 5 years experience.
  • Junior Vulnerability Analyst
    • 1 year of Vulnerability scanning experience, 2-year college degree in a computer science related field or a 4-year college degree
