Job Description/Responsibilities/What does a typical work day look like?
  • Accounting for Legacy Western. Researching and reconciling accounting entries in SAP; very little time in meetings, most of the time will be spent digging in SAP/issue resolution.

Project Description: Describe what your team does & how this project/your team impacts the business:
  • Reconciliation related to SWIFT conversion. Assists in reconciling aged balances to ensure proper accounting of legacy Western activity.

What does the team environment look like?
  • Strong base with tenured employees mixed with employees newer to the industry, pretty diverse group who all get along well.

What is the interaction level this resource will have with the team/with manager?
  • Fairly limited, mainly to report back on findings/resolution of errors

Required/Must Have Skills & Years of Experience:
  1. Accounting (2-4 years)
  2. Analysis Experience (2-4 years)
  3. General Ledger Reconciliation (2-4 years)
  4. Good communication skills across different levels of the organization
  5. Excel

Preferred/Like to Have Skills:
  1. SAP
  2. JD Edwards ERP System

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting (or equivalent)

How will the performance be measured?:
  • Progress in lowering discrepant dollars in balance sheet accounts
