DESCRIPTION
Shopbop is seeking a Community Management Contractor to support community management initiatives across Shopbop’s social media platforms. This role will support social media and content efforts tactically as well as assist with the department’s administrative and reporting tasks. This position reports to the Social Media Content Manager and supports community management, analytical reporting and day-to-day content support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide engaging and timely responses to Shopbop’s Instagram audience and wider community
  • Coordinate with Customer Service team on all escalated customer inquiries
  • Monitor, track, and report on social media engagement, feedback and data trends
  • Brainstorm ideas / initiatives to drive Shopbop’s digital awareness on Instagram
  • Work closely with content, PR, and influencer teams to support branded events
  • Report on growth of content on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Instagram-specific Social Media and / or community management
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to identify and track relevant KPIs
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft office skills
  • Bachelor’s degree

 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented, ability to prioritize
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated to lead and execute on responsibilities
  • Creative thinking and idea generation
