Skill Set Desired:
  • Background/focus on infrastructure type projects
  • Application support mindset, not service desk
  • Beneficial if they have Banking, Oracle and/or Java experience
  • The application that this person will be supporting is a web based application however if they have additional bandwidth, I may use them for QA on some of our apps that are client/server based
  • There isn’t a ton of requirements documentation (in fact not sure there will be any) and there isn’t much liaison between this role and the business with the exception of helping the business understand what is required for UAT

Job Description:
  • Performs business and systems analysis
  • Perform day to day testing and operational activities. 
  • Conducts test planning sessions identifying stakeholder impacts.
  • Conducts QA requirements gathering from planning, process analysis, business process modeling, testing activities and reporting. 
  • Configures testing solutions review with technical design team. 
  • Partners with development, infrastructure, and application support teams to understand complexity, impact, and testing needs
  • Understands functional/non-functional testing
  • Writes and executes test cases for functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Identifies and builds test data to ensure quality of deliverable. 
  • Works with business units to ensure high level of UAT testing.
