Position Description
This position is part of the new Analytics processing Operations team that is established under the direction of the product, technology and operations leadership team. The Analytics Operations Governance Lead will lead and manage all data governance activities and is responsible for improving the quality and managing the protection of sensitive data assets. This role serves as a point of escalation for governance, data quality and protection issues. The position’s focus is on establishing and improving adherence to an enterprise framework for data policies, standards and practices, to meet business objectives based upon consistency, quality and protection.
This role will also be managing & leading all of the Product's Release and Deployment framework, DevOps CI/CD pipeline, Production Incident Management (ITIL processes), Application Monitoring & System Stability/Availability, Disaster Recovery processes, Metrics & Status Reporting, Business/Stakeholder communications etc.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Establish and govern an enterprise data and governance roadmap and implementation plan reflecting the company’s strategic priorities for information-based capabilities
  • Oversee the definition and enhancement of and compliance with data quality standards and business rules using the Data Governance software suite and related tools
  • Manage data-governance related initiatives from inception to completion and maintenance.
    • Manage contribution of business and IT stewards in building and compiling business glossary and metadata repository
  • Work in collaboration with stakeholders across functions to develop policies and procedures which enforce repeatable, reliable processes, reducing variability, increasing efficiency and enhancing overall data quality and compliance
  • Defines the metrics and KPI’s and monitors and reports on data governance activities, adherence and exceptions using corporate standard dashboards and data analytics systems
  • Facilitate change management activities required to fix data quality and process issues
  • Collaborate in strategic planning process and process improvement efforts
  • Manage the Release & Deployment framework for all Production deployments. This includes ownership of drafting the Release Calendar in alignment from the Business, driving the technical teams in Release & Deployment planning, facilitates Go/No-Go checkpoints, Business/Stakeholder communications, Post deployment Incident Management framework, Release Health metrics & status reporting
  • Drive the DevOps priorities for the Product, setting goals/milestones for the technical teams, bring in automation strategies for enhanced CI/CD processes, articulate the path to Cloud (private vs. public) etc.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree
  • 12+ years of Industry experience working on Operations/Data Governance, Information Management and Release & Deployment Management
  • Technical skills and knowledge specifically related to DevOps, Production Operations/Monitoring

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Analytics, MIS, Information Management, Statistics or a related field
  • Healthcare experience
  • Medicare, Medicaid and ACA knowledge and acumen
  • Familiarity with any of the following data platforms & technical skills: Big Data, relational database SQL skills, Python, HBase, HIVE, Oozie, Azure or other cloud-based enterprise data platforms
  • Superior organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently to complete tasks and respond to Business Unit requests and to collaborate with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify high quality solutions
  • Superior coordination skills; ability to organize applicable department timelines and follow up with internal and external customer needs
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively
