Senior Angular Developer - C2C available

Job Description

Developer will work within the Client development environment on a variety of development projects, QA testing, and basic debugging / break fix of issues with currently maintained applications. The developer will be working as a part of a broader team of developers, taking direction on day-to-day tasks within these project areas.

Responsibilities

  • Build, modify, and/or refactor functional components of code within major applications
  • Organize, translate, and merge code from different scripting and programming sources
  • Perform unit and regression testing of code for major development releases
  • Debug and trace down defects within existing applications
  • Perform production code deployments on a regularly scheduled basis
  • Demonstrate technical leadership ability in Angular2+ along with HTML5, CSS3, and communication with RESTful web services from JavaScript
  • Any back end development experience in Python is highly desired
  • Perform code reviews and collaborate with peer designers / developers on project work
  • Provide limited system support and maintenance for the existing systems in the Application Development Services area
  • Guide and lead offshore development on projects as needed
  • Proven ability to work across multiple functional teams in the creation of an application development and support process
  • Identify and interact with Business Relationship Management and Project Management Office to ensure their needs are being met by the project design
  • Maintain an effective approach on problem solving, multi-tasking, coordinating and scheduling in accordance with the Project Plan to ensure visibility and predictability
  • Monitor scope changes through the life of the software development cycle
  • Resolve escalated technical issues
  • Work with outside vendors on projects, establishing technical requirements and standards for outside product development
  • Familiar with VCS and ticketing systems
  • Strong process management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues
  • Experience defining and documenting business and technical requirements, developing and testing software for corporations
  • Must have exceptional intellectual, professional, and interpersonal agility with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in SDLC methodologies (e.g. waterfall and agile)
