Apex Systems is looking for an Application Developer for a large financial institution. Under broad supervision, this role will participate in the technical design of automation solutions.
 
This position facilitates information gathering and validation, evaluates performance, and defines automation approach. Experience is needed to develop and manages plans; create and implement robotics process and desktop automations.
 
This person will also train and coach other employees and managers. Develops realization measures/metrics and executive presentations. Collaborates with business process owners and executives to accelerate rollout, adoption, and realization of value.
 
The role requires a general understanding of standards, policies, and procedures. As well as data and process modeling, system and application testing, software development life cycle, application design and architecture, programming, implementation, change controls, and robotics suites. Basic knowledge of Java VBA languages, or other configuration/scripting type technology.
 
Accuracy and attention to details, problem solving, communication impact, drive and results orientation, and teamwork/collaboration will also be required. Incumbents possess comprehensive analytical, technical and application development / programming skills, and are adept at forging relationships, influencing others, overcoming resistance, and producing results.
 
Requires a bachelor’s degree and five to six years relevant work-related experience with programming concepts, development logic or automating simple to medium complexity processes.
