To help secure all-the-things, they are looking for experts in secure coding across a variety of languages to join our team. Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Responsible for the planning, design, enforcement, and review of secure software development efforts to help ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and procedures under appropriate management guidance.
  • Assist with training and mentoring of developers in the practice of secure coding.
  • Have a broad range and expert knowledge of security assessment tools and manual security testing techniques.
  • Report on metrics around software security defects, remediation, tool utilization, and training.
  • Establish and monitor appropriate secure coding standards and safeguards within software development pipelines as well as in third party provided software.
  • Assist in the delivery of security briefings to management advising them of critical issues and metrics that may affect customer or corporate security objectives.

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field. 1+ years of experience delivering and/or supporting SDLC Security practices
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Software Security best practices (OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, NIST, etc.)
  • Familiarity in industry standard tools and technology, which may include application development languages and packages, open source libraries, frameworks, and related projects, client/server systems, security (firewalls/encryption products), Web servers and applications, and various third-party utilities and tools for integrating applications with databases and legacy systems. Must include experience with Python and JavaScript.
  • Expertise in common web application attack tools, scenarios, and methods.
