Detailed Job Description and Duties:

Develop SSRS Reports which support the business functions of the construction, human resources, audit, legal, development team, and accounting process.

Modify or Develop new features within the existing reporting framework.

Review reporting requests and manage them from inception to end-user delivery.

Test reports to ensure data-validity prior to releasing to end-users.

Conduct complete system testing of changes to existing reports.

Work closely with other teams and departments to understand reporting needs to support their processes.

Gather system requirements, document business process flows, perform analysis, solve problems, prepare test plans/scenarios and manage multiple reporting initiatives.

Provide ongoing support to both end users, internal staff and technical teams.
 

Requirements:

Solid knowledge of TSQL: Stored Procedures, Dynamic SQL, CTE, Views, DB Schemas, BIDS, Triggers, Functions, OLAP, OLTP, and Indexes.

Solid knowledge of SSIS packages, SSAS, SSRS and data-warehouse concepts.

Must have 2 years of SSRS report development experience.

Must have experience with SSRS 2008 R2 and above.

PowerPivot and DataZen (Mobile BI) experience a plus.

PeopleSoft Reporting and SQL tuning a plus.

Willingness and ability to quickly learn new applications, be a self-motivated learner.

Understanding of home building a plus.

Understanding of accounting processes and basic general ledger a plus.
