We are looking for an Authentication & Access Management Product Manager, to join our global family with responsibility for defining and executing the strategy to provide a secure, intuitive and unified user experience to access business applications. 
Additionally, the successful candidate will help the business maneuver identity issues and escalate to appropriate areas of the organization. The position requires a strong understanding of technologies, processes and data in the Identity & Access Management vertical, as well as demonstrated, excellent project management and leadership skills to translate product vision into a well-sequenced roadmap that evolves as the organization learns and adjusts its business goals.

  • Essential Responsibilities
    • Partners with other Identity and Access Management (IAM) verticals, as well as external functions, including infrastructure and application partners
    • Leads efforts to increase Single Sign-On (SSO)-enabled applications by working closely with application teams
    • Evaluate legacy SSO technologies (ADFS Federation, Siteminder WAM, and Azure SSO) and develop a Roadmap towards future-oriented and user- and cloud-friendly protocols.
    • Participates and helps manage complex projects and programs from envisioning through design, development and implementation 
    • Leads and participates in planning meetings and provides advice and guidance on direction of products 
    • Manages a supplier resources-supporting environment 
    • Ensures proper monitoring and alerting tools are in place and operating appropriately 
    • Ensures Otis directories (LDAP and AD) maintain consistent and accurate Identity information for all employees, contractors, suppliers and customers 
    • Work with Application DevOps teams to maintain integration playbooks  used to onboard new Otis applications, platforms and federations 
    • Owns backlog and ensures work items are well understood, testable and completed on time 
    • Tests new integrations and modifies development configurations for new entities, when necessary
    • Responsible for hands-on configuration and technical work to resolve issues
    • Understands technical and non-technical issues and works with customers and extended team to resolve them
    • Identifies and plans to mitigate potential technical and business risks 
    • Partners in planning and implementing Otis’ next-generation IdM Platform
    • Responsible for leading the outsourced partner that will build and deploy next-generation authentication and integration with AD Azure
    • Provides expertise and understanding of the authentication landscape, working with leadership to design, engineer and expand the service footprint
    • Participates in planning meetings and provides guidance and expertise in support of strategic company initiatives
    • Partners with internal or supplier teams, as needed (e.g., architecture, security and/or network)
    • Participates, as needed, in the expansion of privileged-access management solutions
  • Education/Certifications
    • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, management of information systems or a related business discipline(s), or equivalent years of related experience
  • Basic Qualifications
    • Five-plus years of Identity and Access Management product management or other relevant experience
    • Demonstrated ability to build consensus with a variety of key stakeholders, including business and technology leaders, to influence successful outcomes
    • A consistent record of being results-oriented with the desire and ability to achieve aggressive goals
    • Experience working directly with designers, developers and Quality Assurance (QA) leads to build, design and iterate on digital products and services
    • Understanding of the full software development lifecycle, deployment and architecture 
    • Strong quality, time and scope management within an IT realm 
    • Familiarity with  Micro services architecture on internal infrastructure or cloud platforms, such as Azure and AWS 
    • Experience with SSO products (e.g., Siteminder, Okta, Ping)
    • A solid understanding of IAM principles, IT security needs and development operations processes 
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills that are relatable to all levels 
    • Superb planning and organizational skills 
    • Ability to adapt and multi task, with experience working in a fast-moving environment 
    • Experience serving as a scrum master, project manager and/or product manager on small- and large-scale technical applications 
    • Diligent, disciplined and reliable, and strives for the highest quality work product 
    • In-depth directory knowledge (e.g., Active Directory and LDAP)
    • A strong working knowledge of authentication protocols like oAuth, SAML, Radius, TACACS, Digital certificates, Kerberos, ADFS, OpenID, FIDO and Biometrics
    • Familiarity with SQL and No-SQL data stores and an understanding of their applications
    • Ability to accommodate a ten percent work travel requirement
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • SQL query language familiarity is a plus
