Rate: Negotiable based on experience

Duration: 6+ month (likely multi-year) contract.

Position Description:

Responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing and troubleshooting audio and video equipment.  Provide basic IT PC and MAC support and support Cisco conference room phones.  Daily customer support for our client’s corporate Devio video conferencing and screen projection rooms for both MAC’s and PC’s.  Experience with digital signage X2O devices a plus.  Weekly coordination meetings with our client’s facilities and corporate communications groups to plan and align upcoming events.  Main contact with AV vendor TriTech for service calls and new implementations.

  • Hours are 8:30 AM to 5 PM. Need someone who’s flexible to work earlier or later depending on the need of the business
  • Parking is $30/day or there is a shuttle from North and South Stations to this area

Key support areas include:

  • Work Café area for all employee events
    • microphones, projection screens, overflow TV’s
  • Occasionally deploying rolling stand TV’s to support our local events throughout the building
  • Client Showrooms
    • AV support both wired and Solstice wireless connectivity, Conference Room phones
  • LED Wall video wall appliance
  • Reception Wall Lighting appliance

Must haves:

1-3 years’ experience as an A/V Technician

Experience with Devio equipment, Skype, WebEx, MS Power Point (as many of these as possible)

Experience providing technical support for both PCs and Macs

Ability to lift and mount TVs

Ability to provide training to employees on how to utilize corporate AV equipment

Experience overseeing meetings from an A/V standpoint to ensure quality of systems

Nice to haves:

Experience with Digital Signage (X20)
