The DBA/Back End Developer will join the Information Protection groups Security Data Analytics team, with responsibilities for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end databases that support senior-level enterprise security topology analytics & visualizations. As an organization that prides itself on managing by data, as a Back-End Developer, you will be joining one of the fastest growing, highest profile teams. Your day to day activities will include everything from development work in traditional and emerging data platforms (MSSQL, Hadoop, MongoDB) to supporting existing security data warehouse stored procedures, views and schemas to assisting team efforts for data acquisition, storage, and access to participation in daily Agile ceremonies and status meetings. We are looking for a sharp minded professional with exceptional analytical and communication skills eager to join a fast paced team known for delivery excellence and analytic insights of the enterprise security landscape.

Design, develop, test, debug and optimize RDBMS schema and core functionality. Assist with architecting and modelling new database schemas within existing data platform (MSSQL). Tune and debug database and query performance issues. Design and develop MSSQL stored procedures, triggers, functions and views. Maintain, support, update and optimize back-end components for our existing real-time dashboards, making recommendations for operational and performance improvements.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IS, MIS, Statistics or related rigorous academic discipline strongly preferred, but consideration may be given to a candidate with 8 or more years of relevant work experience. Solid foundation in computer science, application development, modeling, statistics, analytics and math. This individual will also need to have strong business acumen, coupled with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate findings to both Business and IT leadership. 4+ years recent MSSQL work in a DBA or back-end developer role. 4+ years gathering and analyzing requirements. 4+ years traditional Data Warehousing concepts. 3+ years .NET framework. 2+ years Software Development Lifecycle (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban). 1+ years working with Git. Strong analytical and algorithmic innovative problem-solving ability. Strong hands-on analytic experience, preferably in predictive modeling or automation. Ability to build relationships with business partners, operational managers and colleagues. Ability to work with minimal supervision/direction. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Ability to work within a geographically diverse team. Ability to manage multiple priorities under dynamic deadlines. Exceptional troubleshooting, debugging and root cause analysis skills. Knowledge of operating environment technologies (network, server, cloud, OS, RDBMS). Experience in the cyber security / incident response space is a plus.
