Client: Large Gaming Company 

Title: Backend Developer

Duration: 12 month contract (possibility for conversion)

Location: Redwood City, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Work with program managers to design the specific payment workflow.
  • Design underlying database schema, interface, and plan for capacity.
  • Implement high quality code with comprehensive unit testing and integration test cases.
  • Develop the UI to integrate new payments type in the check-out flows.
  • Integrate with payment provider’s API and web UI by providing robust error handling.
  • Fix bugs raised from stabilization, integration and production.

 

Required Skills/Experiences:

  • 3+ years’ experience developing object-oriented software (preferably in Java).
  • 3+ years’ experience working on online services (HTTP via REST) at internet consumer scale.
  • 2+ years’ experience on commerce space. Experience on payment integration is big plus.
  • Skills in relational databases, experience with MySQL.
  • Experience in multi-threaded development.
  • Experience in Spring and OSGi.
  • Experience with XML/JSON, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with source control systems like git. . 
  • Experience working with PCI compliant code, payment gateways and server environments is a plus
