Role Description: Sr. Consulting Manager - OCM

 

The Change Management Consultant is responsible for managing and engaging stakeholders and the Change Network, ensuring that the appropriate interventions are in place, and preparing and coaching leaders on leading the change. 

 

Responsibilities

§  Identify a list of key stakeholders and stakeholder groups, and define their goals and expectations, including their levels of commitment and ability to influence the change process.

§  Identify the individuals in the Change Network, determine their education needs, and then prepare, develop, and conduct Change Network education.

§  Prepare, implement, and support the Change Network; ensure the Change Network understands its role during the change process; and monitor its effectiveness, and make adjustments as necessary.

§  Define the appropriate change interventions to manage the impacts of the change and the change risk mitigation options.

§  Develop, prepare, deliver, and evaluate stakeholder interventions, and recommend adjustments as needed.

§  Assess and classify impacts of the change on stakeholders and stakeholder groups.

§  Develop the change acceptance strategy to ensure the intended change implements successfully.

§  Define a plan enabling leaders with the new behaviors.

§  Identify, develop, and implement leadership interventions, including supporting materials.

§  Coach and prepare individual leaders to lead the change, and facilitate alignment of project objectives among the leaders.

§  Support all Change Network meeting coordination logistics, meeting agenda creation, capture notes and action items

§  In support of team:


•  Support identification, planning and development of stakeholder and Change Network communication deliverables and needs


•  Report timely status, issues and risks to project managers
