Apex Systems is seeking a BI Architect with specific Snowflake Data Warehouse software experience for an implementation in Houston, Texas.  This position does have the opportunity to sit remote after 4-6 weeks. Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
Implement data pipelines and systems – to AWS (cloud) and then into Snowflake and building out a data warehouse. 
These Architects will need to get their hands dirty, need to be able to help design and be more than an Architect – layout, integration plan, the landing, and reusability, go back in and code it out too.
Ideal candidate will:
  • Have familiarity with  ETL tools (Fivetran, SSIS, Informatica, DataStage, etc.)
  • Has worked within snowflake at the architecture level
  • Database experience with SQL bases databases (SQL Server, Cloud based Data Warehouses, Oracle)

What are the top 3 MUST HAVE technologies or Required experience of the position?
1.Snowflake / SQL based data warehouse background 
Configuration, designing ETL to ingest into Snowflake 
  • Attunity - data replication tool
  • SQL Server / Oracle (+)
  • Any cloud based data warehouse (+) using 'glue' for AWS scripting
