Here are the details:


Position: SQL Reporting Developer

Location: New Haven, CT

Rate: Salary commensurate with experience

Duration: Perm 

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Member of the JDAT (Joint Data Analytics Team)
  • Supporting different service lines (they operate as a shared service) ex women’s and children, Smilo Cancer Center etc.
  • Building out reports using SQL for those specific LOBs
  • There is a definite customer interactive piece (working with the people who requested report and what they are looking for)
  • Adhoc reports writing and development

Top 3 Skills Required:

  1. SQL-anything from a simple query to 1000 line stored procedure
  2. Reports writing- SSRA, tableau, Business object, crystal reports
  3. BI focused-overlap with DBA but they don’t want a DBA
  4. Communication skills are key- must have some personality

Nice to Haves:

  1. EPIC Clarity cert- if they don’t have it YNHH will fly them to Epic to get certified within 1st 8 weeks or so
  2. Any other scripting is a plus (shows aptitude to expand from just one skill) JS Node etc
