Apex Systems, the nation’s 2nd largest Information Technology staffing firm, has an opportunity for an Asset Manager to work for a large Hospitality company here in Orlando. This is a 3-6 month contract to hire as they are looking to expand their Project Management Office.
Applicants must have 2-3 years of  IT Asset Management/Coordination experience. They also would like someone who is well versed in Microsoft Excel. If interested in this position send a resume to Bre Barnette, Technical Recruiter in Apex’s Orlando Office-

Overview: Life cycle management of End User hardware assets, components and peripherals from acquisition through disposal.  Which include Service Now requests and business approval processes, procurement management, purchase order tracking, warehouse pick transactions, deployment, redeployments and disposal management.  Reviewing warehouse inventory before placing orders with the VARs and maintaining warehouse minimum and maximum asset levels.  Working with field services teams to deploy assets in a timely manner.  Managing refresh cycles through the asset management system and deployments through Service Now requests.  Field services scripting validations for end of month asset billing.
  • The tracking and managing of all IT assets (End User) throughout its operating lifecycle
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong communication skills – ability to communicate both verbally and written with cast members and leadership
  • Ability to multitask and work out of several management systems:  SNOW, AMDB,
  • Ability to balance SLA work queues and non-SLA work queues
  • Asset Management experience – ability to research inventory counts and stock
  • IT hardware knowledge (Lenovo, HP, Apple)
  • Prior experience using Service Now
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to resolve cast member conflicts and escalations
  • Able to handle multiple ticket queue’s and fill in when others are out
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office Suite
  • Pivot tables
  • Manipulating and sorting of large amounts of data
  • Reporting
  • Change Tracking
