Agile/Scrum Senior Business Analyst


Location: up to 50% remote, but candidate must be local to Pleasanton, CA

Deadline: April 25th, 5pm PST

Contract until 12/15/2018 with potential to convert to permanent. Candidate must be eligible to work without corp-to-corp on EAD or without a visa

Client: Healthcare company


* 3-5 years business analyst experience 
* Bachelors degree required, masters degree preferred 
* Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication with both technical and business audiences 
* Demonstrate strategic thinking by using appropriate information to diagnose problems, identify possible solutions and collaborate with impacted groups to drive decisions 
* Self-directed and able to drive detailed solutions to completion with minimal oversight 
* Experience in writing business requirements for web, mobile and/or multi-tier systems 
* Experience in working with Agile/Scrum work environment and familiarity with writing user stories, and following the development process through user story acceptance 
* Extensive experience in documenting current and to-be state behaviors and logical workflows 
* Proficiency with Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 
* Experience with defect tracking management systems (e.g. Quality Center, Bugzilla, etc.) 
* Strong attention to detail and track record of producing quality work 
* Ability to be a solid member of a cross-functional team 
* A great work ethic and a reasonable sense of humor 
* Detail oriented and obsessively organized 
* Strong analytical skills 
* Results driven, with the ability to get through roadblocks 
* Ability to manage assignments to meet project deadlines 


Preferred Qualifications:
* Healthcare or Financial Services industry experience 
* Experience in Health-IT 
* Experience with Kanban methodology 
* Experience with Mobile applications 
* Experience with User Experience teams
