Position: Business Analyst

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 3 month contract

Pay Rate: $50 to $55/hr.



  • Document business processes and help identify improvements
  • Describe the business’ need in the form of User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
  • Organize and document supporting detailed requirements
  • Ensure that the development and QA team have a clear understanding of the business’ need and requirements
  • Provide thorough analysis of issues& solutions
  • The Business Analyst works very closely with all stakeholders including business customers, vendors, and internal resources in order to facilitate team communication.



  • 8-10 years of strong business analysis experience including P&C business process and projects, specifically billing.
  • Experience providing the business rational for the requested requirements and translating same into cost effective configuration solutions
  • Strong knowledge of and the ability to speak to P&C billing processes, operations, and workflows (Direct bill and Agency bill etc.)
  • Commercial P&C Insurance experience (Preferred)
  • Commercial billing experience (Preferred)
  • Experience with one or more billing applications (e. g. Majesco Mastek, GW Billing, etc.)
  • Experience with Majesco Mastek billing systems would be a plus
  • The ability to document the requirement and suggest potential changes to improve the workflow
  • Leadership and facilitation competencies to drive discussions that result in requirements definition
  • Use case development, test case development, and data analysis skills
  • Experience with highly consultative engagements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of Agile principles would be a plus
  • Experience with Scrum and, or Kanban would be a plus
