Position Overview:


Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:

  • Manage certificate of insurance program which includes:
  • Requesting and Filing of Certificates of Insurances received
  • Ensure the schedule of policies are followed and properly filed – renewals etc.
  • Invoice processing
  • Assist with creating presentations for Senior Management and the Board
  • Managing Master Schedule of Insurance Policies
  • Insurance placements and submissions 
  • Certificates of Insurance Program
  • Developing Insurance decision making process for Business teams related to appropriate insurance requirements for vendors and 3rd Party contracts
  • RMIS program module implementation, analytics, reporting, etc.
  • Managing Property Insurance Program
  • Preparing annual presentations related to Insurance Programs and internal reporting to FIPC Audit Committee, Business Teams, etc.
  • Developing Risk Management SOPs as needed
  • Designing Insurance Program training for Business Teams as needed
  • Clean-up of Risk Management shared V:drive filing system; following data retention guidelines
  • Other duties as needed






Skills Overview:

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office applications, word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentations; ability to learn program-specific software applications
  • 2-3 Years of experience in Risk Management or Insurance Industry
  • Analytic skills/experience
  • Ability to learn program-specific software applications
  • Working experience with RMIS (Risk Management Information System) e.g. Riskonnect
