General Summary
The Business Performance Analyst facilitates process improvement and assists business owners in improving existing process performance through analysis, experience and employee input in a project environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities Include:
  • Perform logical data modeling
  • Gather, arrange, process and model data from disparate systems
  • Identify patterns in data
  • Monitor and audit the quality of data
  • Develop and support various reporting processes
  • Analyze large volume of data, be it structured or unstructured.
  • Designs and creates reports
    • Prepare and present data in the right form (graphs, charts or tables) for decision-making and problem-solving process.
  • Identify areas to improve in efficiency and process automation
  • initiate and maintain processes of automated data
  • Identify, evaluate and implement services and tools from external sources to support validation of data and cleansing.
  • Work with both internal and external clients to adequately understand data content.
  • Create dashboards, graphs and visualizations on data.
  • Provide support/input to weekly and/or monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and review meetings
  • Facilitate and/or participate in cross functional Process Improvement Initiatives and root cause analysis
  • Recommend and help implement strategies and actions to mitigate risks/solve issues
  • Network with external and internal service delivery specialists to share best practices

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' data analyst experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' Six Sigma and/or Lean Expert experience
  • Associate's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or 2 years of additional relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Certified Green Belt as evidenced by risk, process and metric definition and analysis examples
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Experience with Minitab, SPC or SPSS
  • Ability to provide examples of project participation
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, statistical analysis with Excel functions, data mining)
  • Data and statistical scripting language experience a plus (R, Python)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Basic quantitative analysis skills
  • Basic understanding of Business Case development
  • Able to pass Operational Excellence skills assessment administered by an Operational Excellence Black Belt
