Workforce and Vendor Manager 

The Workforce and Vendor Manager is a new role and is critical in ensuring that our combined pool of Workforce and Vendor assets is managed and developed in a way to drive value for our team and for our stakeholders.
Role Description
The Workforce and Vendor Manager will be a member of a centralized COO organization within the Markets and Risk Management team. The role will entail owning and managing our growing pool of in-house, contractor, and consulting resources, as well as our portfolio of software and market data vendors. This role will support a wide array of businesses and systems ranging from risk management systems, to legal technology, to FX and front-office trading.
The successful individual will:
• Own the management of a ~200 person workforce and help develop the resource plans and development strategies key to driving and optimizing the organization
• Work directly with our internal Talent Management recruiting group to find, attract and recruit new additions to the team
• Own the pipeline of talent across the group and will work with application and project managers to align their needs with the skills of the workforce 
• Be responsible for skillset analysis, talent development and adherence to corporate training requirements as well as supporting the firm’s diversity and internal mobility programs
• Be responsible for the management of our existing Vendor relationships, as well as assisting in bringing in new vendors to support new solutions for our clients 
• Work with Program and Project teams to identify vendors, assist in the Vendor Selection process, and ensure that proper RFP/SOW processes are in place and managed
• Ensure that contracts, software licenses and invoices are managed in a way to ensure costs are optimized and our vendors are paid for their services in a timely manner
• Build positive relations with new vendors as well as maintaining good relationships with existing ones
• Liaise with and leverage “Third Party Governance” and Procurement teams to ensure your vendor management processes are smooth and in adherence with the firm’s standards.
