C++ Developer
Downtown Chicago
Long Term Contract
Our client, a Global Financial Services Institution is looking to bring on a C++ Developer for a long term contract opportunity.  For more information, contact Mollie Knutson at mknuston@apexsystems.com.

  • The requirement is for an individual contributor who can work in all areas of SDLC .
  • The person is required to work with Risk Analyzer tool which has C++ on the server side and WPF on the GUI side .
  • The role requires a dynamic person who is capable of getting the business requirements , design and estimate the solution and develop the software.
  • The person should have good interpersonal skills and should be capable of interfacing with multiple teams and come up solutions for day over day problems.
  • The person should be enthusiastic to resolve the issues with the current system and should come up with creative solutions to resolve new business problems.

Mandatory Skill Sets:
  • C++
  • Should have good knowledge of OOP techniques
  • C++ basic and advanced concepts
  • Should have knowledge of Design Patterns
  • Should be good using Boost Libraries and STL.
  • C#
  • Should have hands on WPF knowledge.
  • Should be capable of designing and developing WPF GUI.

Nice to have Skill Sets:
  • Knowledge of the Risk/Compliance and Financial systems in general
  • Usage of Bitbucket or knowledge of source control management systems
  • Agile Software development
  • Knowledge of web based GUI development using React JS
