Busy contract testing lab is expanding their staff with a Clinical Laboratory Assistant.
We are looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong attention to detail. The position will be working the overnight weekend shift from 10:00 pm - 6:30 am, Friday - Sunday and will start as soon as a qualified candidate is identified - so apply today!

The Clinical Lab Assistant will receive boxes of incoming samples to be tested in the lab. Job duties will entail accurately scanning them into the computer system and prep them for clinical testing.  If you have a HS Diploma/GED, a positive attitude and willingness to learn this is great career launching position! 
Position Description
Under direct supervision, this position performs a variety of record keeping duties and prepares routine specimens and performs ancillary tasks to support testing.
Unpacks and records samples shipped in accordance with regulations and guidelines. Works with other team members to ensure timely and quality test results. 

Job Requirements:
1.  Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations.  Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.
2.  Assures quality customer service to all customers.
3.  Adheres to the absence policy, as outlined by management.
4.  Maintains accurate records and documentation. Performs data entry.  Ensures donor, patient and employee confidentiality.
5.  Prepares and maintains inventory. Assists with ordering laboratory     reagents and supplies, as required.
6.  Packs and ships supplies and/or specimens.
7.  Maintains the cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
8.  Assists in processing bio-waste, specimens and micro-plates.
9.  Performs receipt and preparation of samples, as directed.
10.          May drive the company vehicle to make deliveries and pickups.
11.  Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned.
