Cloud Security Engineer 
Des Moines, IA
Apex Systems, the nation’s 2nd largest IT Staffing firm, has a Cloud Engineer open to help build out tools in AWS. Technical skills include: PowerShell, Python, Azure, Splunk. Preferred skills include: AWS.

Overview of position:
  • This role will provide cloud security engineering for AWS and Azure. Ideal candidate will have a background in IT security.
  • Role will be managing AWS IAM, Cloud Security Controls, CI/CD pipeline tools to scan code.
  • Transferring data - example bringing Remedy into Splunk
  • Helping Build out tools in AWS, Azure if willing to train up in AWS
  • Implementing 20+ tools into AWS and Splunk
  • Automation using Powershell and or Python
  • Use Azure DevOps (former TFS VSTS) for CICD
  • Building and Securing Servers in AWS, Load Balancers in AWS

Required skills:
  • Verification NIST, Hytrust Standards
  • Splunk
  • IAM and Role based Access (Remedy front end and automation)
  • +HIPPA or Regular experience
  • PowerShell, Python, Azure, etc.

Preferred skills:
  • AWS experience preferred but not required.
  • +CISSP
