• Responsible for the development of sourcing logistics strategies, translate strategy into objectives/action plans & drive execution of the objectives for assigned commodities aligned with the business/sourcing strategy & corporate goals. 
• Results-driven about business cost reduction, revenue increasing initiatives, aggregating supplier volume/reducing price, & utilizing tools/identifying opportunities for e-processes increasing capacity & driving controllership. 


• Implement and manage Transportation & Warehousing Quarterly Business Review process: Confirm list of key US trucking carriers and 3rd Party Logistics service suppliers. Work with Procurement and Transportation teams to establish business review template, criteria and standards. Contact the suppliers and communicate the business review requirements. Establish the cadence of the reviews and ensure participation from key stakeholders. Manage the business review process and establish master schedule 
• Support the Procurement and Transportation team in developing a Transportation Category Strategy: Confirm key stakeholders. Support the development of the strategy template. Manage the scheduling and cadence of the strategy development sessions 
• Support the Procurement and Transportation team in developing a Warehousing Category Strategy: Confirm key stakeholders. Support the development of the strategy template. Manage the scheduling and cadence of the strategy development sessions. 
• Support the Procurement team in documenting and internally communicating the Warehouse Sourcing Process: Confirm key stakeholders. Lead the process to document the sourcing flow. Gain stakeholder approval on the documented sourcing process. Draft and communicate the sourcing process to internal customers.
• Provide leadership in on-going commodity cost reduction programs, and material inventory reduction efforts. 
• Provide leadership and coordinate leveraging opportunities for Power Solutions Worldwide procurement activities. Interact on a periodic, continuing basis with cross functional and cross regional colleagues 
• Develop suppliers and support improving their: Quality; Productivity; Conversion Cost and Delivery. 
• Identify and determine strategy to implement process and tool improvements for strategic sourcing, tactical buying, and supplier payment. 
• Negotiate and interpret contracts between JCI and Logistics suppliers: Upload contracts in Ariba Tool, Review for compliance and expiration dates, Complete the Ariba upload template and work with Ariba contract administration team to upload contracts
