Title: Computing Support Analyst 
Location: Stanford, CA
Duration: 3 month contract, temp to hire 
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide standard contract desktop and local area network support and analysis to our departments.
  • Serve as the go-to person for all aspects of IT device support.
  • Responsible for responding to customer calls, solving problems, resolving technical issues, and answering inquiries related to network connectivity, software, and hardware.  
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with Windows and Macintosh operating systems, Essential onsite Software, network connectivity, file sharing, printing, and basic application functions.
  • Work on technical projects requiring creativity in analysis and deployment of varied technologies.
  • Investigate and test new tools, techniques, and software products and collaborating with others throughout our company as well as outside vendors.
  • Attend meetings, tend to administrative functions, and perform other duties as assigned.  
  • Know the latest about the our information system/desktop/security standards and initiatives.
  • Research, recommend, and implement solutions for customers to meet individual business needs and help ensure compatibility with our systems/architecture.

Personal Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years’ experience in technical consulting/user support
  • Two-year college degree and two or more years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work calmly, professionally, and with attention to detail, and with a solid focus on client service.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise & passion for support of Windows and Macintosh operating systems and a variety of software applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems related to software, hardware, and networking
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to and work well within a team environment. Ability to work on multiple projects and under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • May be required to drive a vehicle.
