Our client, a popular ride sharing company seeks a contractor to build and perform QA of their global web pages. The ideal candidate understands how content works across a customer journey to fulfill both regional business objectives and local user needs. You’ll be involved in web build-outs and site restructuring projects that are global in nature, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


What you’ll do:


  • Operationalize web redesign strategy, working with the global web team and their regional counterparts to plan, produce, and publish new web content
  • Ensure all global web pages are compliant, easy to understand, and SEO optimized. Overall quality and #customerobsessed communication is at the core of everything you’ll do in this role, spearheading QA and content adherence across our global regions.
  • Execute page redirects and deletions within the clients CMS
  • Work cross-functionally to confirm content production is on track and goes through all the right approval channels
  • Build process and playbooks for web publishers to adhere to during site redesign work


What you’ll need:


  • Minimum of 4 years experience in a content strategy or project management role in a consumer-facing software, digital or ecommerce company
  • Experience publishing using CMS systems and with knowledge of SEO a major plus
  • A knack of refining and simplifying content for consumers, making complex topics more succinct and easy to understand
  • Excellent communication skills — ability to invoke action from Operations teams and cross-functional business partners
  • Agile execution — our website is going through a global revamp which requires attention to content migrations and page redirects at scale
  • An eagle eye for grammar and spelling errors
  • Familiarity with web production process and an understanding of user-centered web design
  • Excellent organizational skills to juggle many tasks, while always remaining focused on content quality
  • Ability to think strategically and synthesize input from multiple stakeholders

Reason for Need/Team Background:

  • Global redesign of website- English pages that are governed at HQ
  • Looking for support to produce/build content, build process and standards for considerations outside of the US
  • Headcount of 2 ideally- start with 1 for now, net new hire
  • 4 years of experience





  • Analyze existing content and collaborating to produce new content for clients website
  • Guiding implementation and launch, loading content as team members produce wireframes, overall content, etc.
  • Create playbooks around how to build SEO optimized content
  • Eye towards compliance, accuracy, overall best practices
  • Projects where copy is produced online- localizing information on a country by country basis
  • NOT in a silo doing IC work- working with regional teams to make sure content is compliant with local business -considerations
  • Maintaining and validating content, launching across various regions
  • Heavy lifting around changes for regional site architecture- content operations


3-5 Skills/Candidate Traits:

  • Work experience at a large scale build/maintenance project for a website through various phases
  • Google Sheets for tracking- strong organization skills, someone who has worked to create content and scale it
  • Building content through a CMS, background with SEO
  • Laser focus on attention to detail
  • Have great sense around what makes up a good content experience, coach new team members and collaborate with regional reps


  • Global product background, localization experience (how a product has to be changed/edited for local considerations)
